Why a long weekend

Four days is all it takes. If the four days are built right.

  • 01Sixteen hours you cannot buy at home.In Singapore, sixteen hours with a coach costs about S$2,400 and takes two months to book, one evening at a time. No video. No sparring chosen for your level. Nobody watching you long enough to tell you what is actually wrong. Here it is the same money, in four days.
  • 02Two days of leave, and your afternoons back.Thursday and Friday are the only working days you spend. And the training is done by two: eight to ten, twelve to two, video and recovery in between. From half past two the day is yours, which is why you can bring your family and still train like a professional.
  • 03Nothing to organise.A minibus meets you and stays with the group for four days. Courts held, opponents chosen, lunch at the club, the bar open, dinner booked on Saturday. You will not open Booking once.

The arithmetic

Same money. Four days instead of two months.

Sixteen hours with a coach, three players per court, the same coach from the first ball to the last point, filmed throughout. Everything that is not coaching comes with it.

The Four Days

Thursday is the
measurement. Sunday
is the scoreboard.

You land Thursday morning and you are on court the same day. Every midday session is played against opponents from the island, picked for your level, and they get harder as the week goes on. By Sunday you are facing the players who beat you on the first day.

1Thursday

Baseline

Filmed evaluation, then the two things costing you matches. Groups are split by level and you keep the same coach all four days.

2Friday

Build

Both priorities, in the drill and then straight into the point. A shot that stays in the drill is worth nothing.

3Saturday

Under Pressure

Your opponents go up a level. Tight games, ends of sets, close scores. Dinner together at Fisherman's Village that evening, family welcome.

4Sunday

Prove It

Last adjustments, then the hardest matches of the week against the players who beat you on Thursday. Your written report before you fly.

Take a place →Arrival Thursday morning, departure Sunday evening. Nine places.

The Protocol

On court by eight.
Free by two.

Two sessions in the cool of the day, with the video work and the recovery folded in between them. Nothing is pushed into the evening. From half past two the day belongs to you, and if you came with your family they will barely notice you trained.

07:30
Mobility and activation, thirty minutes, then the plan for the session.
08:00 → 10:00 2h
Session one. Technique, tactics, game situation, in your level group. Filmed throughout.
10:00
Stretching and rehydration. The bar at the club is open and included.
10:30
Lunch at the club, then the morning footage reviewed sitting down and the two priorities for the second session.
12:00 → 14:00 2h
Session two. Coached matches against players from the island, matched to your level.
14:00
Short closing debrief: the patterns of the day and tomorrow's two priorities.
14:30
Amba, five minutes away: sauna, ice bath and your massage. Booked for you every day, compulsory on none.
From 15:30
Yours. The island, your family, the pool, or nothing at all.
Amba in Koh Samui: sauna, ice bath and pool

The recovery

You go home in better shape than you arrived.

This is run as a cure, not a bootcamp. Mobility before every session, stretching after, and the video work done inside the training block rather than at the end of a long day. At half past two, Amba is five minutes from the club: sauna, ice bath and a massage, booked for you every day and compulsory on none. Take it daily, take it twice, or take the pool instead. Either way Monday is not a write-off.

The Club

Prime Padel Samui.
Fisherman's Village.

Covered hall and open-air courts, so a Samui downpour costs you nothing. The club is your base from eight until two: courts held for the group, lunch there every day, the bar open. Amba is five minutes away at half past two, and the minibus does the rest.

  • Courts held for the group, all four days
  • Three players per court, the same coach throughout
  • Lunch at the club every day, and everything you drink there
  • Amba at half past two: sauna, ice bath, pool and a massage, yours if you want it
  • Dinner together at Fisherman's Village on the Saturday, family welcome
  • A minibus with a driver for the group, plus airport transfers

The numbers

Short does not
mean lighter.

Four days is a constraint on your calendar, not on the coaching. The same video work, the same escalating opponents and the same written report as our seven-day weeks. What is different is that it all happens before two o'clock, and that the recovery is built in, because four days in a row only works if the body keeps up.

16

Coached hours on court

Two sessions a day, eight to ten and twelve to two, every one of them filmed and reviewed the same morning rather than at the end of a long day.

1:3

Three players per court

Maximum, and the same coach from the first morning to the last point. Nine players on the weekend, split into groups by level on Thursday.

14:30

And the day is yours

Sauna, ice bath and a massage at Amba, booked for you every day and compulsory on none. After that, the island. It is the part most camps leave out, and the reason you can do it again tomorrow.

The island

And from half past two, Samui is just an island again.

The training is the product and the island is the setting, in that order. But the setting is the reason the afternoons are worth having back: the boat trips, the south coast, the restaurants, and the people you brought with you. You are not here to lie on a beach. You are just not forbidden from it either.

The price of the
coaching alone,

The Thursday testTrain one day.
Then decide.

Flying two hours for a disappointment is the only real risk you are taking, so we carry it instead of you.

Train the full Thursday, both sessions. If by Thursday evening you do not think the weekend is worth what you paid, say so at dinner and we refund the padel in full. You keep the filmed assessment and the written notes from that day, and the rest of the weekend stays yours: the lunches, the transfers and the massages are not refunded and remain booked in your name. Your room is your own booking with the hotel.

We would rather hand the money back on a Thursday than have you fly home on Sunday wishing you had not come.

Straight answers

The questions that
usually come next.

Can I bring my family?

That is partly why the days are built this way. Training runs eight to ten and twelve to two, the video work happens in between, and nothing is pushed into the evening. From half past two you are free, every single day, which is enough for a boat, a beach, a dinner or a long nothing. Take the massage at Amba or skip it and go straight back. The Saturday dinner at Fisherman’s Village is a group thing and partners are welcome at it; tell us in advance so we book the right table.

Four hours a day, four days running. Will I survive it?

That is what the protocol is for, and it is not decoration. Mobility and activation before every session, stretching and rehydration after, the two hours between sessions spent sitting down with the video, then sauna, ice bath and a massage at half past two if you want them. Two of your four hours are match play rather than drilling, and you are off court before the heat of the afternoon. Adults who train like this for four days go home tired, not broken.

And what exactly does the Thursday refund cover?

The padel, in full: the sixteen coached hours, the video work, the sparring, the report. If you stop on the Thursday evening that whole amount goes back to you, €1,690 at the standard rate or €1,490 at the launch rate. What it does not cover is the lunches, the transfers and the massages: those are already booked in your name and they stay yours for the rest of the weekend rather than being refunded. Your room is booked directly with the hotel, on their own terms.

Will I actually be better after four days?

Better, yes. A different level, no. Four days breaks one habit and sharpens one weapon, and you leave with the footage that proves which. Moving from 3.5 to 4 takes seven days, and we run those weeks too. If that is what you want, we will tell you so rather than sell you this.

Can I stay on for the full week?

In December, yes. The weekend ends on Sunday 13 and our seven-day Intensive starts on Monday 14, at the same club. If four days leave you wanting the week, you tell us on the Sunday and we extend you on the spot, subject to places. It is the cleanest way to find out whether a full week is for you before you commit to one.

What level is this for?

Roughly 2.5 to 4.5. Nine players, three per court, split into groups by level on the Thursday morning after the filmed assessment. We ask about your level and how often you play before you book, and if the fit is wrong we say so rather than take your money.

I am coming alone.

Most do. The group is built before arrival from the players we accept, and partners rotate through the four days by design. You will not spend the weekend with the same person, and you will go home with nine new contacts who play at your level.

How do I get there?

Bangkok Airways flies Singapore to Samui direct, one hour fifty-two, seventeen times a week, from around S$400 return. Land Thursday morning and the minibus is waiting. Fly home Sunday evening. Thursday and Friday are the only days of leave you spend.

Where do I stay?

In Bophut, five to fifteen minutes from the club, at every budget. We introduce you to our partner hotel, a four-star on Bophut beach five minutes from the court, and you book with them directly. If you prefer somewhere else, we point you to where past players have stayed. Either way the minibus and the recovery stops are timed around you.
